Looking Forward to Lab Quality Confab – and the Debut of fulCRM
We always look forward to the Annual Lab Quality Confab gathering, but this year even more so because we’re packing something special that we’re going to show off at the conference: fulCRM, a customized and optimized Customer Relationship Management Software system designed by IT Lab professionals for IT Lab professionals. But more on that in a moment…
Now in its 13th year, the is the only conference that provides those of us who work in and serve medical lab organizations a comprehensive discussion and sharing of ideas in the use of Lean, Six Sigma, QMS and other process improvement methods. If I’ve learned one thing in my decades of serving this industry, it’s that if we don’t constantly improve and educate ourselves on the technological advances, trends, and best practices in our industry, we will wither on the vine. Put on by our friend Robert Michel, editor-in-chief of the Dark Report, this year’s conference seems particularly worthy of our attendance. There are important workshops and master sessions, and General Session programs with topics like “CDC and the Changing Landscape of Clinical Laboratory Medicine” and “The Current State of the Lab Professional’s Use of Lean and Quality Management.” These and others are sure to offer up vital information for labs wanting to be more successful and profitable. (The two-day conference’s entire agenda is worthy of your attention.)
And of course, perhaps the most enjoyable, if not arguably the most important, value of attending this event in Atlanta is the networking opportunity it offers. So many of us live and work in our figurative (or literal!) cubicles, and the chance to relax and talk face-to-face, share notes, meet up with old colleagues, and simply enjoy each other’s company… well, you can’t put a price on that. So if you haven’t already, register today because we at U.S. HealthTek especially want to see you there this year. Which brings us to our next point ….
fulCRM – Simple, Effective, Affordable
I’m immensely proud of the team at U.S. HealthTek, as over the years we’ve done a good job in bringing labs up-to-date with technological advances and in making them more efficient and more profitable. But one aspect has eluded us – until now. Our smaller- and medium-sized labs have had to make do without CRMs because of their cost and complexity; then there’s the fact that so many off-the-shelf programs designed for “generic” businesses are really less-than-effective in our extremely niche line of work.
Now, we’re seeing too many labs trying to get by without this critical tool. Sales reps, who represent the profit center of a lab organization, too often work from their own, individual spreadsheets to try to keep track of customers. Maybe there’s duplicated data in them that’s confusing. Maybe they’re calling on a client who had a problem that wasn’t resolved to their satisfaction – but the call is made without that information and the rep ends up stepping on a proverbial landmine. And the executive who manages this team? Trying to organize and filter overall data in an effective way is pretty much near impossible.
U.S. HealthTek’s fulCRM is designed for your lab, and then further customized for your unique needs. Just some of the benefits of our program:
- Follow customer trends and issues
- View client and representative data instantly, from any angle
- Capture all activity in one convenient view
- Get automatic reminders about follow-ups
- Group, assign, track, and close incidents quickly and easily
- Easy to install, easy to use
As we say: “You can’t manage what you don’t measure,” and our new CRM software can do that for you — without intense training sessions (give us one hour), or exorbitant licensing fees (costs are scaled for affordability). So if you didn’t have enough reasons to come to Lab Quality Confab, here’s another one: Look for U.S. HealthTek’s Mike Pratt and he’ll walk you through fulCRM, show you how it works, and answer any questions you might have about it. Or, if you’re not able to attend the conference but you’re fulCRM-curious, reach out to us and we’ll set up a personal demo at your convenience. Otherwise, we do look forward rubbing elbows with all the professionals at the show.
